BND Präsident Schindler versuchte im NSA UA zu erklären wieso Fehler gemacht wurden, betonte dabei aber auch immer, dass man auf die Informationen der NSA angewiesen sei.

XKeyScore's 'source code'. Anything interesting?

When German media reported that they gained access to the source code of XKeyScore I was highly skeptical about source code because what they claimed did not make much sense. I suspected sloppy language and that seems to be true. It's nevertheless interesting.

Reuters reported on Monday on a secret that's circulating for quite some time now. Snowden's supposed doomsday cache of dirty little NSA secrets. While this isn't really a secret and certainly more than just likely Reuters has a nice spin to it that makes you wonder.

The NSA story: A creative or sloppy aproach to math

The NSA published a paper yesterday that's supposed to shed a legitimate light onto their data collection called the NSA story. In this paper the NSA publishes some numbers on how much data they actually analyze in a day. And what can I say. It's apparently not that easy to get numbers right...
